Other award winners were Jos\u00e9 Pedro Alba, Mercedes Avi\u00f1\u00f3, Bel\u00e9n Benito, Germ\u00e1n Burbano, Enrique Cabellos, Francisco Javier Carmona, Luis Castilla, Josep Dolz, Jes\u00fas Mart\u00ednez, Francisco Millanes, Jes\u00fas Montaner, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Orihuela, Fernando Pajar\u00f3n, Antonio P\u00e9rez, Jos\u00e9 Luis Su\u00e1rez and Miguel Zueco.<\/p>\n<p>In his speech during the ceremony, Jos\u00e9 Polim\u00f3n, Vice-president of the Association, praised the work of all engineers \u201cin a profession\u201d, he said, \u201cwhere dedication to the task in hand is paramount\u201d. For the Professional Association of Civil Engineers, he added, \u201cinfrastructures are an essential tool for cohesion and balance, providing vital support for a territory and improving communications, competitiveness, and the quality of life of a country\u2019s citizens.
