These prizes, awarded by the prestigious publication\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.enr.com\/\" title=\"Engineering News-Record\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"> Engineering News-Record (ENR)<\/a>, recognize the best projects of the past year based upon design and construction efforts.<\/p>\n<p>The judges have examined projects from all over the world, taking into account performance of material in terms of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/careers\/why-ferrovial\/health-and-safety\/\" title=\"Health and Safety Ferrovial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"> <strong>safety<\/strong> <\/a>and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/our-commitment\/innovation\/\" title=\"Ferrovial Innovation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"> innovation<\/a><\/strong>, as well as <strong>design quality<\/strong> and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/business-lines\/construction\/\" title=\"Ferrovial Construction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"> <strong>construction<\/strong><\/a>, with special emphasis, moreover, on the diversity of the teams involved and how well they\u2019ve worked together. It\u2019s also considered how much the Project <strong>benefits the local community<\/strong> and \/or the <strong>construction industry<\/strong>. The awards will be presented on 11<sup>th<\/sup> November in New York during the holding of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.globalconstructionsummit.com\/\" title=\"Global Construction Summit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"> <em>Global Construction Summit<\/em><\/a>, which brings together construction industry experts to help attendees build up their businesses and compete at an international level.<\/p>\n<h2>The LBJ Express\u00a0Highway<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/business-lines\/toll-roads\/\" title=\"Ferrovial Toll-Roads\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"> Cintra, a Ferrovial subsidiary,<\/a>\u00a0heads up the consortium which will operate this urban highway concession of 21.3 km, which bypasses the north of Dallas via the IH-635 between the US-75 and the IH-35E and a section of the interstate I-35E.<\/p>\n<p>The construction, which started in 2011 and has been handled by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/business-lines\/construction\/\" title=\"Ferrovial Construction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"> Ferrovial Agroman<\/a>\u00a0and Webber, has been carried out keeping the thoroughfare open to traffic while widening and improving the existing lanes, moving on to the service roads and building new dynamic toll lanes (<em>managed lanes<\/em>) throughout the highway\u2019s entire length.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
