Biotran &#8211; with a workforce of 60 employees &#8211; achieved sales of \u20ac8.6 million in 2015. The company carries out waste collection, transport and treatment. Thanks to this operation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/business-lines\/ferrovial-services\/about-ferrovial-services\/\" title=\"tAbout Ferrovial Services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"> Ferrovial Services<\/a> widens its offer in the industrial services market.<\/p>\n<p>Biotran, founded in 1988, has an extensive client portfolio, as well as facilities in strategic locations throughout Spain: Madrid, Tudela de Duero, Plasencia, Lli\u00e7a de Vall and Puertollano.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Latest waste recovery technology<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Biotran&#8217;s assets include the only mechanical waste treatment plant in Spain equipped to <strong>recover energy from pharmaceutical waste<\/strong>, as well as modern transfer centres equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology for waste treatment and recovery.<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s investment in technological innovation has led to the integration of cutting-edge <strong>technological solutions that respect the environment<\/strong>, incorporating the best solution available in the market which guarantees zero waste to their clients.
