Top news from September 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>It has been another busy month at Ferrovial with<strong> new contracts<\/strong> and <strong>exciting developments<\/strong> across our business lines.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/pFx8zqC-CaI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Top news from September 2016<\/h2>\n<h3>Project Developments<\/h3>\n<p>The <a title=\"Ferrovial-Biodome in Granada\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/the-biodome-or-live-centre-in-granadas-science-park-now-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Biodome or Life Centre in Granada\u2019s Science Park is now officially opened<\/a>. The Biodome is a <strong>large aquaterrarium<\/strong> covering 20,000 m3 and is the fifth expansion project in Granada&#8217;s Natural Science Museum carried out by Ferrovial Agroman. Elsewhere in Spain, Inacua, the brand used by Ferrovial Services for integral <strong>management of sports facilities<\/strong> has <a title=\"Ferrovial News - New website Inacua sport facilities\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/inacua-our-brand-for-integral-management-of-sports-facilities-launches-a-new-website-with-a-new-corporate-image\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\"> <strong>launched a new standard image<\/strong> <\/a>for all of its centres.<\/p>\n<p><em>In the USA, the construction of <\/em>the American highway NTE 35W, the extension of the North Tarrant Express, has <a title=\"Ferrovial News - American Highway 35w\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/the-construction-of-the-american-highway-nte-35w-has-reached-its-half-way-point\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">reached its<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/the-construction-of-the-american-highway-nte-35w-has-reached-its-half-way-point\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\"> half way point<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>New contracts<\/h3>\n<p>In terms of new contracts, Ferrovial has entered into the <strong>electricity transmission business<\/strong> this month with the <a title=\"Ferrovial News- Acquisition of Transchile\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/press_releases\/ferrovial-enters-electricity-transmission-business-with-the-acquisition-of-transchile\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">acquisition of Transchile<\/a>. Looking at other acquisitions across the company, Ferrovial Services <a title=\"Ferrovial News- Acquisition of Biotran\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/ferrovial-services-reinforces-its-industrial-waste-business-with-the-acquisition-of-biotran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Ferrovial has acquired 100% of Biotran,<\/a> a company that specialises in the integral management of pharmaceutical sector waste<strong>.<\/strong> Over in the USA, Ferrovial subsidiary <a title=\"Cadagua\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/cadagua\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Cadagua<\/a> has been awarded a <a title=\"Ferrovial News- Water Treatment plant in Texas\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/cadagua-awarded-a-contract-for-improvement-of-a-water-treatment-plant-in-texas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">contract to improve the treatment plant in Corpus Christi<\/a>, in the state of Texas.<\/p>\n<h3>In other news<\/h3>\n<p>In other company news, Ferrovial has been <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/dow-jones-sustainability-index-of-the-most-sustainable-companies-djsi-picks-ferrovial-for-15th-consecutive-year\/\">included for the fifteenth consecutive year in the <\/a><a title=\"Ferrovial News- Dow Jones Sustainability Index\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/dow-jones-sustainability-index-of-the-most-sustainable-companies-djsi-picks-ferrovial-for-15th-consecutive-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\"><strong>Dow Jones Sustainability Index<\/strong><\/a> (DJSI). Ferrovial is the only Spanish company in its industry to be included in the World and European indices.
