{"id":6408,"date":"2017-02-22T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-02-22T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/news\/discover-the-407-international-financial-results-2016\/"},"modified":"2022-12-21T09:43:17","modified_gmt":"2022-12-21T08:43:17","slug":"discover-the-407-international-financial-results-2016","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/discover-the-407-international-financial-results-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Discover the 407 International financial results 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/projects\/407-etr\/\">Canadian Highway 407 ETR<\/a> has published its 2016 results, a year in which the data of the previous year has been surpassed not only in terms of the benefits achieved, but also in terms of travel numbers and kilometres travelled.<\/p>\n<p>Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (&#8220;EBITDA&#8221;[1]) totalled <strong>$985.0 million <\/strong>for 2016 as compared with $840.0 million for 2015.\u00a0 The Company reported net income of $372.9 million for the third quarter of 2016 as compared with $311.2 million for 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The Board of Directors declared an eligible dividend of $0.268 per common share, payable on or about February 9, 2017 \u00a0to shareholders of record on February 9, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, both the number of trips taken and total vehicle kilometers travelled on <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.ferrovial.com\/en\/2017\/02\/407-etr-highway-worlds-first-all-electronic-toll\/\">Highway 407 ETR<\/a> was higher than the previous year, and over half of drivers surveyed reported time savings of between 20 and 60 minutes per trip.<\/p>\n<h2>About\u00a0407 International Inc.<\/h2>\n<p>407 International Inc. is owned by<a title=\"Cintra\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cintra.es\/es\/index.asp?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"><strong> Cintra Global Holding Limited<\/strong>,<\/a> a wholly owned subsidiary of <strong>Ferrovial S. A. <\/strong>(43.23%), by indirectly owned subsidiaries of <a title=\"Canada Pension Investment Plan Investment Board\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cppib.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"><strong>Canada Pension Plan Investment Board<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(total 40%), and by <a title=\"SNC-Lavalin\" href=\"http:\/\/www.snclavalin.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"><strong>SNC-Lavalin <\/strong><\/a>(16.77%).<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
