Cintra received the Partnership Awards<\/a> recognition as the best PPP management company in 2017 on May 11 at the Hilton Hotel in London. This award recognizes Cintra’s efforts in management and development of infrastructures in Europe.<\/p>\n

Its management has recently been demonstrated in the United Kingdom with the M8 M73 M74 <\/a>Motorway Improvements<\/em> contract where Cintra<\/strong>,<\/a> through the Scottish Roads Partnership and Ferrovial Agroman leading the joint venture [UTE] construction company just opened the new M8<\/strong> motorway to traffic in spring 2017, as originally agreed with the Scottish Government.<\/p>\n

Although the jury was already familiar with the British M8 M73 M74 project, the two specific projects included in Cintra<\/strong>\u2019s candidacy<\/strong> were Ausol<\/strong>‘s<\/strong> refinancing<\/strong> <\/a>and the renegotiation of Algarve<\/a> and Norte Litoral<\/a><\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n

This award, as the awards jury indicated in the gala report, seeks to recognize Cintra’s<\/strong> work in increasing the value of its assets and rewarding its management, even in markets with complicated economic situations.<\/p>\n

In addition, at the same ceremony, the D4R7 motorway<\/a> was also awarded first prize for Best Road Project of the Year. The jury assessed the speed with which the contract was signed, the impact on circulation in the Slovak capital and its payment model.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
