It has positively valued company activities in the field of <strong>corporate governance<\/strong>, <strong>sustainability<\/strong> and <strong>social projects<\/strong>, and highlights Ferrovial\u2019s participation in the United Nations Global Compact.<\/p>\n<p>It also highlights the fact that the company\u2019s accident rate continues to drop under current executive management and the application of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en-us\/careers\/why-ferrovial\/health-and-safety\/\">health and safety policies <\/a>pursuant to its Target Zero objective, with the inclusion of safety indicators in its project management and the widespread use of audits.<\/p>\n<p>MSCI recognises the company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en-us\/sustainability\/ethics\/corporate-code-of-ethics\/anticorruption-policy\/\">anticorruption policy<\/a> to mitigate the risks associated with public contracts, adding that it has solid programmes in place to ensure that all employees and subcontractors work to the highest ethical standards.<\/p>\n<p>The report additionally emphasizes Ferrovial\u2019s increased participation in <strong>water infrastructures<\/strong>, and particularly the company\u2019s strong position in several European countries as a leading provider of <strong>waste management<\/strong> and <strong>other municipal services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the clean technologies market, the agency believes that the work of Ferrovial on civil engineering, construction, facilities maintenance and waste treatment opens up opportunities in this field.<\/p>\n<h2>About MSCI rating agency<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.msci.com\/\">MSCI Inc.<\/a> is a leading provider of tools to support investment decision-making for global institutional investors, including asset managers, banks, hedge fund managers and pension fund managers.
