Ferrovial Services<\/a>‘ Australian subsidiary will deliver rail infrastructure maintenance at the BlueScope steelworks<\/a> in Port Kembla, New South Wales. The two companies have been working together since 2001 and this latest project means the partnership will continue until at least 2021. Broadspectrum already provides asset management, facilities management and project management services at the plant. The five-year contract will commence on 1 December 2017, and will enable Broadspectrum to leverage the manufacturing services at its industrial hub in New South Wales. Key to this project has been the cooperation between the Transport and Natural Resources Department of Ferrovial’s Australian subsidiary, and Amey<\/a>, the UK arm of Ferrovial Services. The UK company’s considerable experience in the railway sector brings added value to Broadspectrum<\/a>‘s services in this sphere.<\/p>\n

Broadspectrum’s Chief Executive Officer of Resources, Tom Quinn, thanked the team for their long-term dedication to BlueScope and for their initiative to implement rail capabilities as added value to industrial services. The company\u2019s transport chief executive, Peter Richardson, highlighted the importance of cooperation between the company’s different areas,\u00a0saying:<\/p>\n
