These awards were presented once more in recognition of the <strong>quality<\/strong> and <strong>innovative efforts<\/strong> of our building and engineering companies in the design and commissioning of major projects throughout the world.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"About Ferrovial Agroman\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/business-lines\/construction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Ferrovial Agroman<\/a> was represented at the event by Juan El\u00edzaga, Director of Institutional Relations and R&amp;D+i, who received the award for the <strong>Toowoomba project<\/strong>. Other winning projects and companies were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bridges and Viaducts: <a title=\"Sacyr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sacyr.com\/es_en\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Sacyr<\/a>, for its Magdalena Bridge SES Consortium.<\/li>\n<li>Urban Construction: <a title=\"Eurofinsa\" href=\"http:\/\/www.eurofinsa.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Eurofinsa<\/a>, for hospital complexes in Peru.<\/li>\n<li>Mining: <a title=\"Riotinto\" href=\"http:\/\/www.riotinto.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Riotinto<\/a> project, presented by Atalaya Mining.<\/li>\n<li>Demolition: <a title=\"Deltapunt\" href=\"http:\/\/www.deltapunt.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Deltapunt Enderrocs<\/a>, for its corporate building in Barcelona.<\/li>\n<li>Tunnels and underground works: <a title=\"OHL\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ohl.es\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">OHL<\/a>, for the tunnel under the Vistula River in Gdansk, Poland.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The POTENCIA awards have been recognising the best civil engineering and machinery projects by <strong>Spanish<\/strong> companies for 11 years. Organised by the Spanish publishing group <a title=\"TPI Group\" href=\"https:\/\/grupotpi.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">TPI<\/a> and its <a title=\"Potencia Magazine\" href=\"http:\/\/profesionaleshoy.es\/obra-publica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Potencia<\/a> publication, they have become a benchmark in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>Juan El\u00edzaga said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;This prize is further recognition of the amazing work being carried out by the Ferrovial Agroman team in Australia.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You can learn more
