Ferrovial presented its Build Up!<\/a> challenge on October 3rd 2017. This is a new open innovation initiative which will see Ferrovial launch innovation challenges<\/strong> for the start-ups<\/strong> sector, both at national and international level. These innovation challenges will stem from Ferrovial\u2019s different business units (Construction<\/a>,\u00a0Toll Roads<\/a>,\u00a0Airports<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Services<\/a>) and will focus on solving the needs arising in each of such units.<\/p>\n

FIRST EDITION OF BUILD UP!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With the aim of achieving its Target Zero<\/strong><\/a> objective for work-related accidents, the first challenge launched through the acceleration programme Build Up! is the search for solutions to guarantee the safety of Ferrovial staff<\/strong> working on road maintenance.<\/p>\n

Over the space of a month, Ferrovial received proposals aimed at solving the challenge: How can we guarantee the safety of staff working on road maintenance?<\/em><\/p>\n

5 shortlisted proposals<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The deadline closed on November 3rd, after which five start-ups<\/strong>\u00a0were shortlisted from all the proposals received from different countries:<\/p>\n
