container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p><a title=\"Metro de Chile\" href=\"https:\/\/www.metro.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Metro de Chile<\/a> recognised <a title=\"About Ferrovial Agroman\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/business-lines\/construction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Ferrovial Agroman<\/a> last December for its performance in relation to occupational risk prevention in its contract for the stations of Pedro Aguirre Cerda, Lo Valledor and Cerrillos, as <strong>the contract with the best prevention indexes of all the underground lines being built<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The award was delivered by Rub\u00e9n Alvarado, Metro\u2019s General Manager, to Ricardo Mungu\u00eda, Building Manager, in representation of Alberto Toraya, head of the contract, and his team, which includes the site managers for the relevant stations Luis Jara, Cristina Ibarra and Jos\u00e9 Pose.<\/p>\n<p>Also present at the event were Joaqu\u00edn Torres, Director for Chile, Marcos Guti\u00e9rrez, Prevention Manager, and Ronald Olmos, Head of Building Prevention in Chile.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the only award received in recognition of the subsidiary\u2019s performance in the country. <strong>Ferrovial Agroman Chile also received the following awards in 2017<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Award for performance in Occupational Health and Safety in Metro\u2019s Contract with best prevention indexes category<\/li>\n<li>Prize for the Staff member with a significant contribution to prevention, awarded to Claudio Sanhueza.<\/li>\n<li>Second in the Distinction for Excellence category for the Voussoir Park in the Los C\u00f3ndores Hydroelectric Plant project, for excellent risk prevention management during production, storage and transport of the separate segments by the team led by El\u00edas Bravo and Jos\u00e9 Antonio Oreiro.<\/li>\n<li>Award for contributions to the Development of a Culture of Prevention at the Franklin and Bio stations.<\/li>\n<li>Recognition of over 500,000 accident-free hours in 2016.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;These awards are evidence that we are on the right track, and make us even more committed to continue improving day by day to fully implement a risk prevention and protection culture for our staff&#8221;, said Joaqu\u00edn Torres.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ferrovial has been working in Chile for over<strong> 28 years<\/strong>, during which time it has built more than <strong>700 km of toll motorways<\/strong>, <strong>12 km of tunnels<\/strong> and <strong>16 underground stations in Santiago de Chile<\/strong>, in addition to buildings with an aggregate value of over 250 million dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrovial Agroman is currently working on the following projects in Chile:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rutas del Loa motorway<\/li>\n<li>Buli and Santa Teresa pedestrian road crossings and bus stops<\/li>\n<li>Puente Alto Judicial Centre<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle crossing at Graneros<\/li>\n<li>Universidad de Chile station<\/li>\n<li>Tobalaba station<\/li>\n<li>Interior cladding for stations in line 3<\/li>\n<li>Santiago-Lampa
