Ferrovial Services<\/a> Chile is implementing a Trade School<\/em> project which has provided training in non-industrial cleaning to 20 persons with mild to moderate learning disabilities<\/strong>. The initiative, which has been carried out in the town of Los Andes, has served to boost the education of these young persons with the aim of providing them with better employment opportunities<\/strong> in the future.<\/p>\n

Training has been imparted by the Adecco<\/a> Technical Training Department, together with staff from Ferrovial Services Chile working as volunteers<\/strong> and providing the necessary tools to enable this group of young people to carry out their job in the future. Following the success of this first initiative, Ferrovial Services is working to carry out a similar project in the town of Antofagasta.<\/p>\n

The Trade School project has been developed together with the municipality of Los Andes. City mayor Manuel Rivera explained:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am delighted that Ferrovial Services has provided this training course, allowing persons with disabilities to receive the tools that are critical for them to further their development.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He also valued very highly Ferrovial Services Chile\u2019s commitment to carrying out social actions to contribute to the communities in which it operates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
