Ferrovial Servi\u00e7os has won the public tender for providing cleaning, sanitisation and waste management services in the fishing port of Matosinhos,\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0Docapesca, Puertos y Lotas, S.A. This new contract will run for 3 years<\/strong>. The services will be provided by 7 staff from Ferrovial Servi\u00e7os<\/a> at Matosinhos.<\/p>\n

Docapesca<\/a> is a state business sector company, under the responsibility of the Portuguese Ministry of the Sea<\/a>, providing first-sale fish services and support to the fishing sector and the ports on the Portuguese mainland.<\/p>\n

With branches throughout mainland Portugal, Docapesca has its head offices in Lisbon and comprises 6 divisions: North, Matosinhos, Centre North, Centre, Centre South and South. The portuguese company has been providing services for Docapesca in Matosinhos since 2000, and this new contract serves to strengthen client confidence in the quality of the services provided by the company and its partners.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial Servi\u00e7os continues to grow in Portugal<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This new contract recognises the capacity, quality and commitment of FS and its staff in meeting the needs and expectations of its clients. The Portuguese subsidiary of Ferrovial Services was recently awarded<\/a> the contract for collection and transport of solid urban waste, street cleaning, and disinfection and maintenance of waste containers in the town of Arouca.<\/p>\n

And a few months ago, the Portuguese company was also awarded the contract for hospital cleaning services at the Institute of Oncology in Lisbon and was selected by Volkswagen (VW) to provide advisory services to its infrastructure team for monitoring of all non-productive subcontracts in its Autoeuropa factory in Portugal.<\/p>\n
