{"id":7272,"date":"2018-03-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-03-26T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/news\/ferrovial-services-and-renfe-involve-clients-in-decisions-relating-to-onboard-services\/"},"modified":"2022-12-21T09:18:39","modified_gmt":"2022-12-21T08:18:39","slug":"ferrovial-services-and-renfe-involve-clients-in-decisions-relating-to-onboard-services","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/ferrovial-services-and-renfe-involve-clients-in-decisions-relating-to-onboard-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferrovial Services and Renfe involve clients in decisions relating to Onboard Services"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>Ferrovial Services and <a title=\"Renfe\" href=\"http:\/\/www.renfe.com\/EN\/viajeros\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Renfe<\/a> have involved their high-speed (AVE) passengers in the selection of the menus to be served by their onboard catering services over the coming <strong>Spring-Summer season<\/strong>, which will be designed by brother chefs <a title=\"Twin Torres - NY Times\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2010\/04\/18\/travel\/18Barcelona.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Javier and Sergio Torres<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The rail operator has offered tasting sessions to passengers on eleven of its trains, and carried out surveys on different breakfast, lunch and dinner options.<\/p>\n<p>Renfe currently offers catering at seat for passengers with a First class (<em>Preferente<\/em>) ticket travelling on AVE trains from Monday to Fridays and Sundays. In second (<em>Turista<\/em>) class, the operator offers passengers the option of eating at their seat from its mobile catering service, or in its dining car.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrovial Services was awarded the contract for <a title=\"On board services on renfe's high speed\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/projects\/on-board-services-on-renfes-high-speed-ave-and-long-distance-trains\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">managing onboard services on Renfe trains<\/a> on 1 December 2013, covering high-speed and long-distance trains on national and international routes.<\/p>\n
