All such new services are compliant with the Australian Government\u2019s regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Driven by the <a title=\"Centre of Excellence for Natural Resources\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/business-lines\/ferrovial-services\/centres-of-excellence\/natural-resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\"> Centre of Excellence for Natural Resources<\/a> and managed by our in-house engineering consulting business, ICD, the service allows access to data acquisition and analysis in the following fields:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>HD photos and videos<\/strong>: Enables close-up, high quality inspection of our assets to detect potential defects or problems.<\/li>\n<li><strong>LiDAR:<\/strong> Laser scanning to measure structures, objects, or create land contours, providing three-dimensional modelling of assets.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Infrared thermography:<\/strong> Provides thermal imaging to highlight areas requiring special attention.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new service implies improvement in <a title=\"Health and Safety at work\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/our-commitment\/health-and-safety-at-work\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\"> labour safety<\/a>, as it reduces the need to access confined spaces or areas at height, and there is an increase in efficiency through reduced inspection times. These advantages imply an increase in value of the services provided to clients.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Projects using drones in the UK and Spain<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ferrovial Services uses drone technology in <a title=\"Autonomous drones\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/projects\/autonomous-drones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\"> different cases and scenarios<\/a>, ranging from inspection of critical infrastructures such as roads and bridges, waste treatment plants, or power lines and gas ducts.
