Those start-ups will receive a non-refundable grant of <strong>\u20ac100,000<\/strong>. Two of them will receive an additional <strong>\u20ac150,000<\/strong> each, also non-refundable. The best start-ups selected for IMPACT Growth may receive up to <strong>\u20ac1.5 million<\/strong> in private-sector funding.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrovial Services, through the Centre of Excellence for Energy and Facility Management, together with Ferrovial&#8217;s\u00a0<a title=\"Ferrovial's Commitment to Innovation\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en-us\/innovation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Innovation<\/a>\u00a0and processes department, and the <a title=\"CI3\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ci3.es\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Intelligent Infrastructures Innovation Centre<\/a> (CI3), is leading the Smart\u00a0Infrastructure\u00a0and Cities area of the programme.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from funds, the 14 start-ups will benefit from the support of\u00a0<a title=\"FIWARE Foundation\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fiware.org\/foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Fundaci\u00f3n FIWARE<\/a>\u00a0to integrate this technology when developing their projects. The start-ups will participate in a <strong>training programme<\/strong> with international experts and entrepreneurs in Madrid and Oporto, and will have access to an international network of more than 100 renowned mentors, founders and investors.<\/p>\n<p>Among the 14 winners there are five Spanish companies, which presented projects related to the tourism industry, livestock, air quality and service traceability.\u00a0The 14 winners, which come from 7 different countries, are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Absolute Zero VR\" href=\"https:\/\/www.absolutezerovr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Absolute Zero<\/a>\u00a0(Copenhagen, Denmark): interactive 360\u00b0 live streaming enabled through VR cameras and augmented reality<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"ArtuData\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artudata.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">ArtuData<\/a>\u00a0(London, United Kingdom): platform using AI to find, attract and retain high-value customers.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Chatnfly\" href=\"http:\/\/www.chatnfly.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Chatnfly<\/a>\u00a0(Barcelona, Spain): travel chatbot 100% automated for end users and companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Digitalanimal\" href=\"https:\/\/digitanimal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Digitanimal<\/a>\u00a0(Madrid, Spain): solution for the location and care of animals that increases farm profits revenues, assuring animal well-being and traceability through the blockchain.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"E-Bot7\" href=\"https:\/\/e-bot7.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">e-bot7<\/a>\u00a0(Munich, Germany): artificial intelligence to improve customer service.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Freesense\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freesense.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Freesense ApS<\/a>\u00a0(Copenhagen, Denmark): wireless sensor designed to be used in bioreactors.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Fueloyal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fueloyal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Fueloyal<\/a>\u00a0(Sofia, Bulgaria): smart IoT platform to enhance fleet efficiency.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Pycno\" href=\"https:\/\/pycno.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Pycno<\/a>\u00a0(Valencia, Spain): easy-to-use professional sensors for farming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Sensei\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sensei.tech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Sensei<\/a>\u00a0(Castelo Branco, Portugal): AI-powered real-time video recognition solution for retailers, providing accurate in-store analytics and insights.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Sensohive\" href=\"https:\/\/sensohive.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Sensohive ApS<\/a>\u00a0(Odense, Denmark): smart wireless industrial monitoring for production purposes.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Sentio Simulations\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sentio.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Sentio Simulations<\/a>\u00a0(Copenhagen, Denmark): fast, accurate simulation solutions for manufacturing companies with no manual content\u00a0 creation.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Skyx Solutions\" href=\"https:\/\/www.skyx.solutions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Skyx<\/a>\u00a0(Ramat\u00a0Hasharon, Israel): autonomous and modular swarm of agricultural fumigation robots.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Urban Clouds\" href=\"https:\/\/urbanclouds.city\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Urban Clouds<\/a>\u00a0(M\u00e1laga, Spain): solution that offers a special map of air quality.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"WiTraC\" href=\"http:\/\/witrac.es\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">WiTraC<\/a>\u00a0(Valencia, Spain): wireless real-time location system for Industry 4.0 based on IoT and smart sensors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>A Successful\u00a0<\/b><b>first<\/b><b>\u00a0round of Impact Growth<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>The 14 start-ups chosen in<a title=\"Ferrovial News IMPACT Accelerator\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/the-accelerator-programme-for-the-14-startups-selected-for-the-impact-growth-project-has-now-begun\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\"> the first round of IMPACT Growth<\/a>, launched in February 2017, have already finished their three-month acceleration phase, and are about to begin the internationalisation process offered by IMPACT.<\/p>\n<p>Three of the most disruptive start-ups from the first IMPACT Growth batch\u00a0(<strong>Yerbabuena\u00a0VR, Farm Dog and Clarity<\/strong>)\u00a0were chosen to travel to Silicon Valley in February with members of the IMPACT team. At the end of the month, the four best start-ups from among the 14 winners in the first round will begin the second\u00a0IMPACT Growth Digital Mission, to be held in London.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
