They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Washing of gasses<\/b><b>:\u00a0<\/b>Design, construction and commissioning of\u00a0a gas washing system to reduce emissions of solid particles, acid\u00a0mists\u00a0and hydrochloric acid gas\u00a0at\u00a0the Cerro Colorado\u00a0(CMCC) mining company\u00a0owned by the\u00a0BHP-Billiton\u00a0group.\u00a0The project will enable\u00a0CMCC to increase\u00a0the amount of copper recovered.<\/li>\n<li><b>Ventilation system<\/b><b>:\u00a0<\/b>Under this contract,\u00a0Ferrovial\u00a0will develop,\u00a0supply and commission a tunnel ventilation system for\u00a0Fluor-Salfa. Fluor-Salfa has been\u00a0contracted by\u00a0BHP-Billiton\u00a0to\u00a0increase copper and molybdenum\u00a0production\u00a0to\u00a095,000\u00a0tonnes\u00a0per\u00a0day.<\/li>\n<li><b>Rail Car Vacuum System<\/b><b>:\u00a0<\/b>In\u00a0this project,\u00a0Ferrovial Servicios Ambientales\u00a0will again work with Fluor-Salfa for engineering development, supply and commissioning of a vacuum system,\u00a0with\u00a0the aim of disposing of the copper\u00a0concentrates accumulated\u00a0in the rail cars carrying the material,\u00a0thus\u00a0enabling\u00a0copper\u00a0recovery and avoiding\u00a0such residue from going to\u00a0landfill.<\/li>\n<li><b>Improvement of filters at the<\/b><b>\u00a0Hern\u00e1n Videla<\/b><b>\u00a0found<\/b><b>ry<\/b><b>:\u00a0<\/b>The company\u00a0ENAMI\u00a0has awarded a contract for the design, construction, supply, assembly and commissioning of\u00a0a series of improvements\u00a0in the gas and dust filters at the Hern\u00e1n Videla foundry\u00a0to Ferrovial Servicios Ambientales.\u00a0The company aims to\u00a0improve the drying process for copper concentrates\u00a0in order to comply with\u00a0the relevant\u00a0emissions regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>A growing presence in Chile\u2019s mining sector<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Ferrovial\u00a0Services in Chile recently announced the\u00a0renewal of the asset management and equipment maintenance contract\u00a0at\u00a0the Los Bronces\u00a0mine\u00a0for\u00a0<strong>Anglo American<\/strong>.\u00a0The agreement extends the provision of this service for <strong>three years<\/strong>.\u00a0The company\u00a0delivers mining services,\u00a0principally\u00a0<strong>industrial maintenance<\/strong> and <strong>operations<\/strong>,\u00a0and <strong>maintenance of heavy machinery<\/strong>, and is\u00a0a strategic partner for state mining company <strong>Codelco<\/strong>, the largest copper producer in the world, providing\u00a0services throughout the company\u2019s production chain,\u00a0including operations at mines in\u00a0Chuquicamata, Radomiro Tomic, Ministro Hales\u00a0and\u00a0Andina.\u00a0Ferrovial Services Chile also has a strong presence in the private mining sector, providing services to clients such as\u00a0<strong>BHP Billiton<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Antofagasta Minerals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
