To commemorate\u00a0International Book Day<\/b>, the electric carsharing company\u00a0ZITY<\/a> will be launching\u00a0a campaign\u00a0aimed at using\u00a0its fleet of cars\u00a0for the purpose of sharing\u00a0stories. \u202fFrom April 23 to 29, all books that are left in the\u00a0<\/b>boot<\/b>s<\/b>\u00a0of<\/b>\u00a0ZITY car<\/b>s<\/b>\u00a0will be donated to two\u00a0<\/b>charit<\/b>able<\/b>\u00a0<\/b>book<\/b>shops<\/b>:<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0Li<\/i>bros<\/i>\u00a0para un\u00a0<\/i>mun<\/i>d<\/i>o<\/i>\u00a0<\/i>mejor<\/i>\u00a0(Books for a better world)<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>and\u00a0TuuuLibrer\u00eda<\/i>\u00a0<\/i>(Your\u00a0Bookshop)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0initiative\u00a0known as\u00a0#LibrosPorLaZity<\/b>\u00a0will be\u00a0publicized\u00a0through\u00a0ZITY\u2019s\u00a0social networks,\u00a0as well as by\u00a0informative\u00a0book\u00a0marks\u00a0placed\u00a0between the glove\u00a0box\u00a0and the dashboard\u00a0on all ZITY\u00a0vehicles.\u00a0In this\u00a0way, users will be invited to\u00a0take those dusty books off their shelves and leave them\u00a0in the\u00a0car boots\u00a0so that others can\u00a0benefit from their\u00a0use.\u00a0When cars are taken to ZITY’s headquarters for recharging,\u00a0the boot will be inspected, and\u00a0any books found\u00a0there will be collected and\u00a0subsequently donated\u00a0to the bookshops mentioned above.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ZITY wants to fill the city with books because a book\u00a0is never finished if\u00a0it continues to be read.\u00a0In addition, this campaign aims to give\u00a0more\u00a0visibility to places in Madrid that\u00a0search for \u2018ZITYzens\u2019, referring to those\u00a0individuals\u00a0who use\u00a0ZITY services,\u00a0or\u00a0in other words,\u00a0people\u00a0who are\u00a0committed to society, supportive and environmentally aware, and\u00a0who want to live in a more sustainable city. Moreover, these people\u00a0not only\u00a0contribute\u00a0to society\u00a0by\u00a0donating their books, but they also help others to\u00a0reread\u00a0them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

D<\/b>onation<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Every person imagines a book\u00a0that\u00a0they would like to read, but unfortunately\u00a0not everyone\u00a0can have a book.\u00a0For this reason, ZITY will donate the books collected in this campaign to the following\u00a0charity bookshops, which in turn\u00a0will allow them to be read\u00a0another time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Loyal\u00a0to its philosophy of\u00a0seeking the\u00a0cultural, social and healing\u00a0aspect of books, this\u00a0bookshop\u00a0recycles\u00a0second hand\u00a0volumes,\u00a0promotes the sale of used books\u00a0at unbeatable prices,\u00a0and donates the\u00a0works\u00a0it receives to libraries of\u00a0those organizations\u00a0most in need.\u00a0Specifically, it collaborates with 25 libraries\u00a0in\u00a0mental health centres, colleges and nursing homes, 14 of\u00a0which are located in Spain,\u00a0and 11 in Brazil.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
