Cintra<\/a> and Ferrovial Agroman<\/a> recently took part in a three-day conference in Texas on the topic of public private partnerships<\/strong> (P3), with panels discussing topics such as roadmaps to success in P3 projects, how to effectively manage the lifecycle of a project, new P3 innovations, and procurement structure.<\/p>\n

Both Cintra and Ferrovial Agroman appeared on panels at the event attended by more than 1,250<\/strong> government officials, business leaders and industry experts. These panel members included Belen Marcos<\/strong>, President Cintra US, Heather Walker<\/strong>, Senior Legal Counsel, Cintra US, Daniel Filer<\/strong>, Vice President of Business Development, Ferrovial Agroman US, Angela Berry Roberson<\/strong>, Director of Diversity Contract Compliance, Ferrovial Agroman US, and Tony Elkins<\/strong>, Commercial Director Corporate & Business Development, Cintra US.<\/p>\n

For those interested in seeing the LBJ Express<\/a> firsthand, attendees were given the opportunity to take a bus tour of the project<\/strong> and traffic management operations. Almost 100 attendees<\/strong> took part in the early morning tour, with local news media also joining. The tour included key insights on pre and post construction of the LBJ Express, details on the dynamic tolling technology, congestion relief achieved, and the enhanced mobility created, as well as a visit to the traffic management centre where Cintra\u2019s managed highways in north Texas are monitored.<\/p>\n

During her panel discussion on Roadmaps to a Succesful P3<\/em>, Belen Marcos, President of Cintra US stated that:<\/p>\n

“We must keep in mind that this contract will last for the next 40 years, it is important to keep clarifying the contract for both parties while looking back at its origin. We must keep the spirit of the project intact, and it needs to be a win-win for both the public and private sectors. Make it fair and keep transparency throughout the process.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This was the fourth consecutive year<\/strong> Ferrovial Agroman and Cintra have participated in the annual conference. Both they, Ferrovial, LBJ Express and North Tarrant Express were all diamond level sponsors at the conference, where people from all across the world learnt about Cintra and Ferrovial Agroman in the
