Ferrovial Services<\/a> has been awarded the tender for the construction and subsequent operation and maintenance of a sports centre located in Soto de Henares, in Torrej\u00f3n de Ardoz.\u00a0More precisely, a sports complex that the company will operate for a period of 40 years via Inacua<\/a>, the Ferrovial brand for integrated sporting facilities management since 2004.<\/p>\n

The facilities will feature 900 m2 of fitness\u00a0areas<\/strong>, 3\u00a0group training areas<\/strong>, an indoor circuit<\/strong>, a thermal spa<\/strong> and covered\u00a0swimming\u00a0pools<\/strong>, sections of which can be left uncovered during the summer season. The aim of Ferrovial Services is to optimise the facilities by placing its wealth of experience in service management at the service of the public.\u00a0The new project brings the total of\u00a0sports centre contracts to 13 –\u00a0the\u00a0High Performance Centre in Granada\u00a0and 12\u00a0others\u00a0that operate\u00a0under the brand\u00a0name\u00a0Inacua.<\/p>\n

Contracts\u00a0for the provision of sports-related services\u00a0provide Ferrovial Services with an annual turnover in excess of 28 million euros,\u00a0and the two business areas combined provide employment for\u00a0some\u00a01000 people, 40% of whom\u00a0are employed\u00a0in\u00a0the facilities\u00a0by way of concession agreements.\u00a0 The new\u00a0contract\u00a0is expected to create some 30 jobs and is the latest\u00a0to be awarded to the\u00a0company\u00a0since Inacua l\u2019Arboc in Tarragona in 2017.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial Servicios consolidates its position in sports\u00a0<\/b>centre management\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

The new contract allows Ferrovial Servicios to continue\u00a0its expansion\u00a0in the integrated management of sports facilities in Spain via the brand name Inacua, which\u00a0currently\u00a0operates 12 licenses throughout\u00a0the country. The brand recently updated its corporate image, presenting a new website<\/a>,\u00a0websites for each of the centres it administers and a recently-launched in-house\u00a0blog<\/a>\u00a0featuring\u00a0advice and tips relating to health and sporting activities.<\/p>\n
