{"id":87466,"date":"2019-04-29T13:25:29","date_gmt":"2019-04-29T11:25:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/?post_type=new&#038;p=87466"},"modified":"2022-12-20T12:27:03","modified_gmt":"2022-12-20T11:27:03","slug":"cadagua-signs-contracts-spain","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/cadagua-signs-contracts-spain\/","title":{"rendered":"Cadagua Signs Two New Contracts in Spain"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>The Valencian Community&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epsar.gva.es\/index.aspx?id_idioma=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Department of Wastewater Treatment<\/a> has also awarded them the contract for operations and maintenance services for <strong>Aspe<\/strong>&#8216;s sanitation system and wastewater purification<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Maintenance at the Heineken treatment plant<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Since the start of January 2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/cadagua.es\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cadagua<\/a> has provided all of the resources, including materials as well as personnel, needed for the operation and maintenance of <a href=\"https:\/\/cadagua.es\/en\/2019\/04\/11\/cadagua-will-operate-the-heineken-edari-in-jaen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heineken&#8217;s iWWT<\/a> to ensure smooth functioning under optimal conditions from the very start, committing to <strong>continually improving the process, optimizing it, improving maintenance for the facilities, and implementing a high-quality system<\/strong>, as well as working on <strong>elements related to preventing workplace hazards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Heineken Spain has hired Cadagua to carry out numerous projects over the last few years at factories in Valencia and Madrid. Cadagua also provides operation and maintenance services for the purifier at the Heineken factory in Quart de Poblet (Valencia).<\/p>\n<p>Cadagua has multiple references from projects in the agri-food sector from such well-known firms as Mahou-San Miguel, Heineken, Damm, Estrella Levante, Estrella Galicia, Garc\u00eda Carri\u00f3n, Cobega Coca Cola, Font Salem, Panib\u00e8rica, and Nufri, along with references like Saic, Smurfit, UIPSA, EUROPAC, Papelera Alquer\u00eda, CELESA, and Kimberly Clark in the paper manufacturing sector.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The water purification and sanitation system at Aspe<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The new contract awarded by the Department of Wastewater Treatment started on <strong>March 1, 2019,<\/strong> and it will be in effect for 4 years, with the possibility of annual extensions for<strong> a maximum of 4 more years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.epsar.gva.es\/instalaciones\/edar.aspx?id=32\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aspe&#8217;s WWTP has a treatment capacity of<\/a> <strong>2,500 m3\/day <\/strong>and <strong>an average rate equivalent to 27,083 residents<\/strong>. It has a<strong> conventional biological treatment that uses prolonged aeration<\/strong> and <strong>a sludge treatment system <\/strong>that uses a gravity thickening process and dewatering through belt filters and centrifuges. Additionally, the WWTP at Aspe has a post-treatment system for sludge that uses a composting plant consisting of <strong>4 drying tunnels with a 308 Tm ms\/year\/tunnel capacity.<\/strong><\/p>\n
