The conference was organized by the Fundaci\u00f3n de la Energ\u00eda de la Comunidad de Madrid (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fenercom.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FENERCOM<\/a>, the Energy Foundation of the Community of Madrid), and it was held at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etsii.upm.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Escuela T\u00e9cnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales<\/a> headquarters.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"image-section \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n        <figure class=\"image-section__figure\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.newsroom.ferrovial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/15145219\/sesion-iii.jpg\" title=\"Ferrovial Services participated in CivilDron \u201819, the most prestigious conference on drones in Spain\" alt=\"Ferrovial Services participated in CivilDron \u201819, the most prestigious conference on drones in Spain\" class=\"image-section__image\">\n                    <\/figure>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>The Autov\u00eda de Arag\u00f3n Sociedad Concesionaria, working with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/es\/nuestro-compromiso-ferrovial\/innovacion\/digital-hub\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Digital Hub<\/a> and Ferrovial Corporation\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/our-commitment\/innovation\/innovation-management\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Innovation Management<\/a>, has satisfactorily finished developing a pioneering system for monitoring slopes by using drones. <strong>This initiative was presented at CivilDron&#8217;19 for the Ferrovial Services concessionaire<\/strong>, which manages the Calatayud-Alfajar\u00edn (Zaragoza) stretch of the A2 highway. <strong>Miguel Ort\u00edn, Director of Concessions Operations,<\/strong> presented the initiative during the third session at the conference. As a concessionaire on this part of the highway, Ferrovial is responsible for preserving the original shape of the dirt formations and performing daily and monthly visual inspections, as well as correcting defects in netting, walls, and other relevant elements.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"image-section \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n        <figure class=\"image-section__figure\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.newsroom.ferrovial.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/15145222\/miguel-ortin-1.jpg\" title=\"Miguel Ortin showing ASM SYSTEM: Aerial Slope Monitoring with Drones (Ferrovial)\" alt=\"Miguel Ortin showing ASM SYSTEM: Aerial Slope Monitoring with Drones (Ferrovial)\" class=\"image-section__image\">\n                    <\/figure>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p><strong>An explanatory video showed how this innovative form of slope inspection is done<\/strong><strong><u>.<\/u><\/strong> High-resolution aerial images are taken, then they are processed to produce the cloud of points linked to the slope, as well as its 3D model.
