At the 2019 awards ceremony, there were over 1,100 projects<\/strong>, examined by a jury of national and international professionals, which met on March 29th<\/sup> and awarded 306<\/strong> prizes, including bronze, silver, and gold medals, as well as the Grand Laus and Laus Aporta prizes.<\/p>\n

About Laus design awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The ADG Laus Awards<\/a> promote design, illuminate its cultural and economic importance for society, and support the professional environment. They recognize the best projects in Graphic Design and Visual Communication <\/strong>in more than 50 sections across five categories: Graphic Design, Digital, Advertising, Audiovisual, and Students. The jury consists of a diverse, multidisciplinary group of professionals from different geographies who consider 5 criteria: idea, execution, functionality, contribution, and consistency.<\/p>\n

The El Salado campaign, peace through water<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On February 18, 2000, in the town of El Salado, one of Colombia’s cruelest conflicts took place. All of the town\u2019s inhabitants left, and after two years of exodus, 200 families decided to return and take back their land. Ferrovial, within the RSC Social Infrastructure program, along with the NGOs Acci\u00f3n and the Fundaci\u00f3n Semana, worked on restoring and expanding the aqueduct system, as well as creating an organizational structure, the Water Board, for its maintenance and development.<\/p>\n
