Inigo Meir\u00e1s was accompanied by other representatives from Ferrovial: Ignacio Clop\u00e9s, Director of Iberia, Latam, and Other Markets; Juan Lozano, Director of Civil Works in Spain and Portugal; Alberto Torres, Director of Andalusia, Ceuta, and Melilla; Juan Garc\u00eda-Li\u00f1\u00e1n, Civil Works Manager in Western Andalusia and Ceuta; Alvaro Rodr\u00edguez C\u00e1ceres, Site Manager; and the rest of the team that has participated in executing the project.<\/p>\n<p>The project, carried out by Ferrovial Agroman for more than \u20ac50 million, began in May of 2015 and aims to build an alternate route for the towns of Beas and Trigueros in Huelva, Andalusia.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                The stretch of N-435 where construction is being done has a high traffic density, with more than 11,000 vehicles per day. This is a stretch with a high percentage of heavy vehicles driving from Badajoz and Zafra to Huelva, with dangerous goods coming from or going to the &quot;Chemical Pole of Huelva,&quot; so infrastructure will contribute to the region\u2019s economic development            <\/blockquote>\n\n            <footer class=\"block-quote__footer\">\n                                    <p class=\"block-quote__author\" aria-label=\"\">\n                        <span class=\"block-quote__author-name\">Ignacio Clop\u00e9s <\/span>\n                    <\/p>\n                                    <p class=\"block-quote__author-role\" aria-label=\"\">\n                        Director of Ferrovial Iberia, Latam, and Other Markets                    <\/p>\n                            <\/footer>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p>The opening of the new Bypass means an improvement in drivers\u2019 time in traffic on the N-435, making the northern part of the Province of Huelva more accessible and bringing it more in reach. It will provide service and an exit to the high volume of traffic from mining and industrial activity, thus strengthening development. It will also contribute to improvements in quality of life for residents and directly increase road safety and comfort for its users. This project is part of the strategy for safety and improved mobility in the country, and it will be a backbone for the province, facilitating the flow of heavy vehicles and preventing traffic jams and accidents, Minister Ebalos remarked.<\/p>\n<p>The length of the stretch is 17 km in all and runs through highly varied terrains, from highly expansive clays in the southern stretch to the rocky terrain typical of the northern part of Huelva\u2019s Sierra de Aracena. Three junctions have been defined with the same typology for the new layout: the Beas Norte Junction, the Beas Sur \u2013 Trigueros Norte Junction, and the Trigueros Sur Junction.<\/p>\n<p>The project as a whole includes 59 cross-sectional drainage works, with 30 of them set up as wildlife crossings and more than 30 km of covered ditches.\u00a0 In total, a total of 25 structures, 9 overpasses, 7 underpasses, 6 viaducts, and 3 junction structures have been built, connecting more than 30 km of newly-built roads with existing ones and thereby addressing the accessibility needed for agricultural activity.<\/p>\n<p>As for the section of the road used, it consists of 25 cm of artificial gravel and 20 cm of hot bituminous mix with modified bitumen with BC35\/50 rubber, thereby allowing more than 80,000 tires to be recycled. It was spread over the entire section measuring 10.5 meters wide with a paver owned by the Ferrovial Agroman Machinery Park, as noted by Alberto Torres.<\/p>\n<p>Archaeological monitoring and surveillance have also led to several finds, with as many as 14 archaeological entities of particular importance, including several necropolises from different eras and a megalithic element.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                Making this infrastructure available to public use began on April 30, 2019, when the first 8.28 km stretch was opened, which eliminated the need to use the N-435 stretch through Trigueros.
