The survey, which was completed by 4,499 Which? members and detailed 6,237 airport experiences<\/strong>, positioned Southampton third in the best airports in the UK<\/strong> (servicing fewer than 10 million passengers per year).<\/p>\n

The airport\u2019s overall score of 77 % <\/strong>put it ahead of Bournemouth, London City and Liverpool airports, amongst many others.\u00a0 The overall airport score was based on the combined satisfaction levels of the passenger and how likely they were to recommend the airport to others.<\/p>\n

The individual areas assessed included queues for bag drop, check-in, security, and passport control; waiting time for baggage reclaim, prices and choice in food and retail outlets, quality and quantity of seating available, standard of facilities and overall customer experience provided by airport staff.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n
