The bypass, constructed by Ferrovial Agroman<\/strong>, is almost five kilometers long (3.1 miles) and will not only serve as a link with the D4 highway but will also help alleviate congestion issues in one of the villages with the highest traffic intensity close to the capital city.<\/p>\n

The opening ceremony was attended by the Slovakian Minister of Transport Mr. Ersek, the Spanish Ambassador Mr. Belzuz de los R\u00edos, the Head of BSK (Bratislava self-governing region) Mr. Droba, the Mayor of Most pri Bratislave Mr. Rendek, and several representatives of Concessionaire Zero Bypass Limited including Mr. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Be\u017eilla, General Manager of D4R7 Construction Mr. Bregel and Country Manager of Ferrovial Agroman in Slovakia Mr. Sanz.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

The construction of the bypass lasted from November 2017 till September of this year. During this time, almost 400,000 m\u1d9f of embankments were used in the section containing three bridge structures and three intersections (Vraku\u0148a, the future intersection of Podunajsk\u00e9 Biskupice and Most pri Bratislave), more than 20,000 m3 of gravel and 36,413 tons of asphalt among other materials. In addition, the safety features on the local road required nearly 10,000 meters of crash barriers and 4,100 meters of permanent horizontal marking, with the total length of the newly built structure, including intersections, being 6.5 kilometers (add miles).<\/p>\n

Analyst J. Drahovsk\u00fd says the bypass will help relieve at least half of the 10.000 cars that pass through the village every day, facilitate the commute time to the capital city<\/strong> for all residents living in the surrounding areas and divert traffic outside of the village.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n
