{"id":91304,"date":"2019-11-08T13:55:38","date_gmt":"2019-11-08T12:55:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/?post_type=new&#038;p=91304"},"modified":"2024-11-04T18:33:02","modified_gmt":"2024-11-04T17:33:02","slug":"the-san-pablo-ceu-foundation-opens-the-university-hall-at-cardenal-herrera-university","status":"publish","type":"new","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/the-san-pablo-ceu-foundation-opens-the-university-hall-at-cardenal-herrera-university\/","title":{"rendered":"The San Pablo CEU University Opens the University Hall at Cardenal Herrera University built by Ferrovial"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Last month in October,\u00a0<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">CEU Cardenal Herrera University<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0held\u00a0<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Convocation<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">for\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the academic year<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">it did so\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">in the new multipurpose room\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">in\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">University Hall<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, built\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">by\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ferrovial Agroman\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">on\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the central\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Alfara<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0del\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Patriarca<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">campus\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">in Valencia.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">University Hall\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">is a 2,000<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8211;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">m2\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">building\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">spread out\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">over 3 floors that surround 1,000 m2 of gardens on the ground floor,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and it is\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">located in a large central square\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">measuring\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">12,000 m2<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0next to the future\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Rectorate<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">building.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Of particular note are t<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">he main body<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2019<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s overhangs<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, built with\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">a\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">metallic structure\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">made of composite slab, as well as\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">large<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0open spaces\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">inside\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">that will serve as\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">core areas<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0inside. It\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">is enclosed by a large-format,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ventilated ceramic facade\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">over a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0multilayer enclosure, with areas\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">walled off with curtains at the entryways\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">deck<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">roof.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                The building gives meaning to a University Campus that the CEU community in Valencia has been needing for years. This building, along with the Rectorate and Management buildings for the CEU Cardenal Herrera University, which we are currently working on, demonstrates the close working relationship between the CEU and Ferrovial Agroman, a relationship that has resulted in than 15 projects finished over the last 20 years            <\/blockquote>\n\n            <footer class=\"block-quote__footer\">\n
