The 800-horse-power platform has a mast capacity of 180,000 pounds and is capable of drilling production and core extraction wells 2,400 meters deep. This Otway facility is Australia&#8217;s first instance of <strong>deep geological storage of carbon dioxide (CO2)<\/strong>, the most common greenhouse gas.<\/p>\n<p>Easternwell CEO Kyle Koziol said,<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"block-quote \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10 block-quote__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"block-quote__text\" aria-label=\"\">\n                &quot; We are pleased to support CO2CRC\u2019s innovative and world-leading project by drilling wells for carbon capture and storage. These techniques provide operators with alternatives to conventional monitoring techniques, enabling faster on-demand control at substantially lower costs and with minimal impact on the community and the environment.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Broadspectrum&#8217;s<\/strong> <strong>Recent Awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The company was recently awarded <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/broadspectrum-awarded-improve-lighting-network-dunedin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a contract with the Dunedin City Council<\/a> to install <strong>LED lights<\/strong> in the New Zealand municipality\u2019s public lighting grid. The agreement, worth just over \u20ac12 million euros ($20 million AUD) over 7 years, includes installation and, once completed, maintenance for Dunedin&#8217;s lighting. In addition, Broadspectrum<a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/news\/broadspectrum-renews-contract-with-austin-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> has renewed its agreement with Austin Health<\/a> for three more years. Since 2011, the company has provided maintenance services for Austin Health facilities in Melbourne, including the Austin Hospital, the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre, the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre, and seven satellite sites.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
