The project, awarded to a joint venture with the company United Infrastructure Group, is valued at around $229 million (about \u20ac192 million).<\/p>\n<p>The project includes the widening and reconstruction of a stretch of more than 4.588 miles, the construction of 21 bridges, as well as the reconstruction of the I-16\/I-75 interchanges. These works will improve the highway through the construction of wider shoulders, concrete barriers, and additional lanes along most of the section. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>This contract is Webber&#8217;s second project in Georgia.\u00a0 Ferrovial&#8217;s U.S. Construction subsidiary is currently working on the rehabilitation of I-75\/SR 401 in Clayton and Henry counties in Georgia. It has also recently been awarded the renovation and expansion of the FM 1960 highway in Houston for 70 million dollars, the improvement of IH 35 in Laredo for 115 million dollars and the reconstruction of the Texas highway in Dallas SL12 for 301 million dollars. Webber is currently working on more than 40 projects in Texas, Virginia and Georgia<\/p>\n<p><strong>North America: the strategic market for Horizon 24<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the beginning of 2020, Ferrovial announced its Horizon 24 Plan which established the company\u2019s growth focus on the development of sustainable infrastructure with projects of high concession value and designated North America as a key market for growth and development. This contract reinforces Ferrovial\u2019s commitment to North America, its main market by revenue. The company has five Managed Lane projects in its portfolio located in Texas (LBJ, NTE and NTE 35W), Virginia (I-66) and North Carolina (I-77).<\/p>\n<p>Ferrovial Construction has been serving this market for 15 years and has built vital infrastructure, including LBJ Expressway in Dallas and segments of the SH 99 Grand Parkway in Houston.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
