The award, known as &#8220;CMG Building and Design Awards 2010&#8221; has been granted by Commercial Media Group (CMG). These awards recognize success in the areas of construction, engineering and architecture during the year, specifically those which have demonstrated a focus on best practices in the areas of sustainable design and innovation.<\/p>\n<p>The jury, comprised of recognized engineers, architects and entrepreneurs, have honored Ferrovial Agroman\u0092s ability to manage and deliver complex projects within the international engineering scene. In 2010, Ferrovial Agroman has put into operation &#8211; several months ahead of schedule &#8211; the M3, M1, M50 and A4, four of the biggest highway projects tendered in recent years to develop Ireland\u0092s major transport corridors.<\/p>\n<p>The Director of Ferrovial Agroman in the UK and Ireland, Ignacio Clop\u00e9s, said: &#8220;This recognition from the construction sector in Ireland is of great importance to the company as it strengthens our position in a highly competitive market. We believe we can offer value-added differentiation in the construction of infrastructure by providing integrated services to our customers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ferrovial&#8217;s presence in Ireland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ferrovial has an important presence in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The construction company expanded into both these markets in 2002, through being awarded construction of the M4-M6 highway as part of the Eurolink consortium, which also included Cintra. In 2005, Ferrovial Agroman was awarded the A1\/N1 cross-border highway project between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. In 2007, Ferrovial won a contract to build and operate the M-3 Clonee-Kells highway, near Dublin, as well as the design and construction of the DBFO 2 project for the A1 Newry bypass and A4\/A5 Dungannon to Ballygawley in Northern Ireland. Also in Dublin, Ferrovial Agroman recently completed the refurbishment of the M50 ring road.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CMG <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CMG is one of the leading media groups in Ireland specializing in the construction sector.
