{"id":1184,"date":"2013-07-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-07-24T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/press_releases\/ferrovial-build-krakow-universitys-new-school-chemistry\/"},"modified":"2022-12-21T12:12:15","modified_gmt":"2022-12-21T11:12:15","slug":"ferrovial-build-krakow-universitys-new-school-chemistry","status":"publish","type":"press_release","link":"https:\/\/newsroom.ferrovial.com\/en\/press-releases\/ferrovial-build-krakow-universitys-new-school-chemistry\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferrovial to build Krakow University&#8217;s new School of Chemistry"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section class=\"wysiwyg text-editor \" id=\"\">\n        <div class=\"container container--narrow container--p-10\">\n            <p><strong><a title=\"Budimex\" href=\"http:\/\/www.budimex.pl\/pl\/site.html\" target=\"_blank\">Budimex<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a title=\"About Ferrovial Agroman\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/en\/business-lines\/construction\/about-ferrovial-agroman\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ferrovial Agroman&#8217;s<\/a><\/strong> Polish subsidiary, has signed a contract to build the new School of Chemistry at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. <strong>This project, worth 131 million zlotys (around 30.5 million euro)<\/strong>, will be completed in consortium with Mostostal Krak\u00f3w, a Budimex subsidiary specialised in steel structure assembly and industrial equipment installation. Construction is scheduled to be finished in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The new four-storey building, which will be located on campus, will span 28,000 square metres and include auditoriums, classrooms, a library, laboratories and offices. The project also includes the construction of a building to house a transformer and store reagents.<\/p>\n<p>The Budimex-Mostostal Krak\u00f3w consortium will also build a car park, accesses to the school, and adjacent green areas.<\/p>\n<p>Jagiellonian University, founded in the 14th century, is the oldest university in Poland and one of the most prestigious in Eastern Europe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Ferrovial<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ferrovial, one of the world&#8217;s largest infrastructure and city operators, is committed to developing sustainable solutions.
