Ferrovial<\/strong><\/a> has entered into a strategic alliance with Spanish technology company Sngular<\/strong><\/a> to develop joint solutions that will transform infrastructure through digital products based on Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> (AI) and the Internet of Things<\/strong> (IoT). The alliance advances the company’s commitment to digitalizing the industry while ensuring a sustainable impact.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of this strategic partnership, the two companies will work together<\/strong> to develop innovative digital projects using IoT and AI to digitalize and optimize Ferrovial’s operations. This will lead to safe, sustainable development<\/strong> in construction<\/strong> and infrastructure managemen<\/strong>t.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis agreement represents another step towards our goal of leading the transformation of the infrastructure sector. The combination of technologies such as IoT and AI applied to our industry will improve how we operate and the service we provide to citizens,\u201d<\/em> said Dimitris Bountolos<\/strong>, Chief Information & Innovation Officer (CIIO) of Ferrovial.<\/p>\n

\u201cSngular has been working for years to transform various industries with technology. This partnership positions us as a key player in the infrastructure sector and enhances our ability to export Spanish technology to other geographies,\u201d<\/em> said Sarah Harmon<\/strong>, Global CEO of Sngular.<\/p>\n

A successful partnership <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ferrovial and Sngular have a successful track record<\/strong> of working together, in which their decades of experience applying the latest technology<\/strong> in the industry are an important asset. They have worked together on a range of projects since 2018<\/strong>, resulting in improvements in critical processes such as costing for tenders, operation control in construction projects<\/strong>, and infrastructure safety.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The technology resulting from this partnership is expected to be developed in Spain<\/strong> and used in Ferrovial’s business units in all the markets where it operates, including the United States,<\/strong> Canada<\/strong>, the United Kingdom<\/strong> and Australia<\/strong>.\u00a0 It also provides for the possibility of scaling the product outside the company<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The alliance highlights the company’s solid commitment to innovation<\/strong> and digitalization<\/strong> as vectors of growth<\/strong>.\u00a0 In line with its Digital Horizon 2024<\/strong><\/a> strategy, and with the goal of strengthening and transforming the business, Ferrovial wants to drive a new generation of sustainable transport infrastructure<\/strong> and offer efficient solutions and advanced management approaches throughout the entire asset cycle.\u00a0 To this end, it recently developed pioneering projects such as AIVIA Smart Roads<\/strong><\/a>, created to develop 5G smart
