Ferrovial<\/strong><\/a> has announced the 2023 round of its “Juntos Sumamos”<\/strong><\/a> program as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives. This program seeks to improve living standards for people at risk of social exclusion by supporting projects by private nonprofit organizations that are incorporated and registered in Spain. Since inception in 2005, the program has benefited close to 200,000 people by allocating over two million euro to fund 47 projects.<\/p>\n

\u201cJuntos Sumamos\u201d represents a shared commitment by Ferrovial<\/strong> and its employees<\/strong> to the most vulnerable members of society<\/strong>. It crystallizes the company’s aspiration to have a positive impact<\/strong> on the communities in which it operates, and also contributes to achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Ferrovial matches employee donations to fund projects, which are selected for the program by the employees themselves.<\/p>\n

The 2023 funding round is open to community action projects that help to meet people’s basic needs or promote their integration into work and society<\/strong>, focusing on combating poverty and exclusion both in Spain and in developing countries. Nominations will also be accepted for projects that address the conservation of natural capital and biodiversity as an engine of local development for improving the community’s social and economic conditions.<\/p>\n
