Ernesto L\u00f3pez Mozo has been appointed Group CFO; Nicol\u00e1s Vill\u00e9n, who has held that position for 16 years, has been appointed CEO of Ferrovial Aeropuertos. Both positions hold seats on the Management Committee and report directly to I\u00f1igo Meir\u00e1s, Group General Manager, who will shortly be promoted to CEO.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Nicol\u00e1s Vill\u00e9n&#8217;s extensive knowledge of BAA makes him the ideal person to take charge of the airport business at this time; Ernesto L\u00f3pez Mozo&#8217;s extraordinary career and proven experience mean that he is ideally qualified to manage the Group&#8217;s financial strategy,&#8221; said I\u00f1igo Meir\u00e1s, General Manager of Ferrovial.<\/p>\n<p>Ernesto L\u00f3pez Mozo, who has worked extensively in Spain and other countries, was formerly CFO and Controller of Telef\u00f3nica M\u00f3viles and is currently Controller and Head of Resources at Telef\u00f3nica Latin America. He was previously Vice-President of JP Morgan and worked in the Treasury Department of Banco de Santander. He graduated in Civil Engineering from Madrid Polytechnical University and obtained an MBA from Wharton. He will join Ferrovial on 1 October 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Nicol\u00e1s Vill\u00e9n has played a key role in Ferrovial&#8217;s expansion and internationalisation. He participated in the acquisition of BAA and has been a member of its Board of Directors since 2006. As CEO of the airports subsidiary, he will take the place of I\u00f1igo Meir\u00e1s, who has been combining that position with that of Group General Manager since April 2009. Nicol\u00e1s Vill\u00e9n joined Ferrovial in 1993; he graduated in Industrial Engineering from Madrid Polytechnical University and obtained an MBA from Columbia.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrovial is one of the world&#8217;s leading infrastructure groups, with over 100,000 employees, a presence in 48 countries and operations in a range of complementary industries such as construction, airport and toll road management and maintenance, and municipal services. The company owns two of the world&#8217;s leading private transport infrastructures: Heathrow airport, in London, and 407 Express Toll Route, in Toronto. Over 60% of Ferrovial&#8217;s revenues come from outside Spain, mainly from other OECD countries. The company, which is listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange, is a member of the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Indices and FTSE4Good.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
