Ferrovial and the City of Madrid’s employment agency have signed a framework agreement to provide\u00a0 specialized construction trade training to unemployed people<\/strong>, who will have the opportunity to work on projects the company is carrying out in Spain.<\/p>\n

Through this agreement, Ferrovial seeks to foster employability and boost talent in the infrastructure sector<\/strong> by redefining specialized training to adapt it to new technological advances and industry needs. The program, whose content has been developed by Ferrovial, will include financial assistance. In addition, the company is committed to providing students with apprenticeships so they can implement their new knowledge and skills in real-life projects.<\/p>\n

“This agreement positions us as one of the leading companies cooperating with the City of Madrid in training and employability, and demonstrates our commitment to Spanish industry, to talent development and to innovation within the infrastructure sector,\u201d said Ignacio Clop\u00e9s, Managing Director of Ferrovial Construction.<\/p>\n

The first training pathway focuses on electricity and home automation and includes 15 students who will undergo three months of classroom instruction to gain the knowledge and skills needed for excellence in their trade. This will be followed by an apprenticeship at Ferrovial<\/strong>, with the possibility of subsequently joining the company and further advancing their careers by taking part in cutting-edge projects across Spain.<\/p>\n

This initiative, carried out through Madrid’s Green Jobs and Trades School, will enable unemployed individuals to acquire new skills aligned with current business needs, creating value for both sides. It also furthers Ferrovial’s commitment to developing talent<\/strong> as a means to ensure sustainability and excellence in the infrastructure sector.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
