As in previous years, Ferrovial sponsors the conference, provides organisational assistance and is the private institution with the largest number of technical papers. CONAMA is being held from 22 to 26 November at the Juan Carlos I Exhibition Centre in Madrid.<\/p>\n<p>Since its debut in 1992, the bi-yearly CONAMA has become Spain\u00b4s most important forum in this field, and it is attended by leading representatives of the Administration, business, the scientific community, the media and NGOs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>16 papers and partiicpation in 19 round tables<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year, Ferrovial is once again the leading contributor of technical papers: through the contributions of nearly 40 Ferrovial professionals, the Group has enhanced its leading role in CONAMA. This year it is presenting a total of 16 papers (8 in the previous edition of CONAMA) and its engineers are scheduled to participate in 19 round tables (9 in 2002).<\/p>\n<p>In the round table discussions, managers from Ferrovial\u00b4s different business areas have had the opportunity to exchange experiences and opinions with leading spokespersons of the Administration and other institutions, find solutions to the principal environmental problems affecting the companys activities, and convey their expectations directly to the interlocutors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Report: Socially Responsible Investment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Ferrovial CEO Joaqu\u00edn Ayuso will participate in the inaugural session, on Monday 22, under the theme of The Challenges of Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n<p>The following day, 23 November, Ferrovial will present a report entitled Socially Responsible Investment. From values to action, in conjunction with Fundaci\u00f3n Entorno and BBVA.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
