Ferrovial Agroman<\/a>, a trav\u00e9s de su filial Webber<\/a>, ha comprado la compa\u00f1\u00eda texana Pepper Lawson Construction (Pepper Lawson), especializada en infraestructuras de agua y edificaci\u00f3n no residencial<\/strong>. Con esta adquisici\u00f3n, Webber incrementa las capacidades y recursos de su divisi\u00f3n de agua. Adem\u00e1s, la compa\u00f1\u00eda crear\u00e1 una divisi\u00f3n dedicada a edificaci\u00f3n no residencial, con la que diversificar\u00e1 su oferta.<\/p>\n

Webber, fundada en 1963, fue adquirida por Ferrovial Agroman en 2005 para facilitar su introducci\u00f3n en Texas. Est\u00e1 especializada en la construcci\u00f3n de infraestructuras de transporte. En 2015 factur\u00f3 643 millones de euros y mantiene una cartera de 950 millones de euros. La adquisici\u00f3n de Pepper Lawson potenciar\u00e1 las capacidades internas en construcci\u00f3n de plantas de tratamiento<\/strong> de agua<\/strong> y facilitar\u00e1 el desarrollo de la presencia de su filial Cadagua en el mercado norteamericano. Pepper Lawson factura anualmente cerca de 200 millones de d\u00f3lares y cuenta con una plantilla de m\u00e1s de 250 empleados.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial Agroman cuenta con una larga trayectoria de construcci\u00f3n en Estados Unidos, con proyectos como las autopistas North Tarrant Express<\/a> y LBJ Express<\/a>. Recientemente la compa\u00f1\u00eda se ha adjudicado la circunvalaci\u00f3n de Atlanta<\/a>, un tramo de la l\u00ednea de alta velocidad de California<\/a> y est\u00e1 realizando los trabajos de ingenier\u00eda y dise\u00f1o previos de la l\u00ednea de alta velocidad de Texas. En este estado, Ferrovial logr\u00f3 en 2015 su primer contrato de agua en Estados Unidos, a trav\u00e9s de Cadagua y Webber: la remodelaci\u00f3n de una planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales en Trophy Club, en el \u00e1rea metropolitana de Dallas-Fort Worth.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
