He was subsequently Executive Vice-President Strategy, Brand &amp; Marketing of Banco Santander Brazil; and Board Member of Banco Santander Chile and Banco Santander M\u00e9xico. Since 2014, he has been Chairman of Haya Real Estate. Juan Hoyos graduated in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid and obtained a Master in Business Administration, Accounting and Finances from Columbia Business School.<\/p>\n<p>Joaqu\u00edn Ayuso, a civil engineer, has been part of Ferrovial since 1982, having been CEO of Ferrovial between 2002 and 2009 and of Ferrovial Agroman between 1999 and 2002. Most recently, he was second vice-chairman of the Board of Directors and a member of the Executive Committee. The Board expressed its &#8220;acknowledgement and gratitude for his dedication and contribution&#8221; to Ferrovial during that time.<\/p>\n<p>The appointment of Juan Hoyos continues the process of renewal in the Board of Directors of Ferrovial. Previously, \u00d3scar Fanjul was appointed in 2015; Philip Bowman in 2016; Hanne S\u00f8rensen in 2017; and Bruno Di Leo in 2018. The Board of Directors currently has two executive members, two proprietary members, one non-executive member and seven independent members. Its composition is as follows: Rafael del Pino, chairman; Santiago Bergareche, vice-chairman; Ignacio Madridejos, CEO; \u00d3scar Fanjul, lead independent director; Mar\u00eda del Pino, Santiago Fern\u00e1ndez Valbuena, Jos\u00e9 Fernando S\u00e1nchez-Junco, Joaqu\u00edn del Pino, Philip Bowman, Hanne S\u00f8rensen, Bruno Di Leon and Juan Hoyos.
