Pero es dif\u00edcil encontrar a alguien tan particular como GLAdys, <strong>el primer robot con rasgos humanos que entra en funcionamiento en un aeropuerto brit\u00e1nico<\/strong>. Los viajeros que pasaron por la zona de salidas del Aeropuerto de Glasgow estas Navidades pudieron disfrutar de su compa\u00f1\u00eda. GLAdys entretuvo a los pasajeros con canciones y cuentos navide\u00f1os. Su capacidad de movimientos es\u00a0 mucho mayor que la de R2D2, su estilo m\u00e1s elaborado que el de Wall-e y sus modales mucho m\u00e1s refinados que los de Bender de Futurama. El dise\u00f1o de Gladys est\u00e1 basado en el del robot Pepper, el primer robot humanoide capaz de reconocer las emociones humanas y adaptar su comportamiento al estado de \u00e1nimo de su interlocutor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El nuevo miembro del equipo del Aeropuerto de Glasgow tuvo un \u00e9xito rotundo en las siete semanas en las que estuvo contagiando su alegr\u00eda a los viajeros. Esta primera toma de contacto permiti\u00f3 conocer la reacci\u00f3n de los pasajeros ante un \u2018asistente\u2019 de unas caracter\u00edsticas tan particulares. GLAdys volver\u00e1 a pasearse por las instalaciones del aeropuerto en junio despu\u00e9s de haber adquirido nuevas habilidades pensadas para mejorar la experiencia de los pasajeros. De hecho Gladys no es el primer miembro \u2018digital\u2019 del equipo del aer\u00f3dromo escoc\u00e9s.
