Ferrovial, a trav\u00e9s de su filial,\u00a0Ferrovial Construcci\u00f3n<\/a>, ha sido seleccionada por Microsoft<\/strong> para llevar a cabo\u00a0 la construcci\u00f3n y puesta en marcha de uno de los \u00a0Centros de Procesos de Datos (CPD)<\/strong> que desarrollar\u00e1 en Espa\u00f1a en el marco del acuerdo estrat\u00e9gico que firmaron ambas compa\u00f1\u00edas a comienzos de a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

Dicho acuerdo contemplaba el trabajo conjunto de ambas compa\u00f1\u00edas en la digitalizaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de las operaciones de Ferrovial; la b\u00fasqueda de nuevas formas de construcci\u00f3n para la optimizaci\u00f3n de los centros de datos de Microsoft; y el desarrollo de iniciativas y soluciones tecnol\u00f3gicas innovadoras que posibiliten un desarrollo sostenible y un futuro de cero emisiones netas en el mercado de la construcci\u00f3n y de la gesti\u00f3n de infraestructuras.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Para llevarlo a cabo, se han seguido los m\u00e1s estrictos criterios de sostenibilidad en su dise\u00f1o, construcci\u00f3n, por ello cuenta con la certificaci\u00f3n Leed Gold<\/strong> que otorga el Green Building Council. En este sentido, el centro est\u00e1 enfocado a conseguir de la forma m\u00e1s eficiente importantes reducciones en el consumo de energ\u00eda<\/strong> y emisiones de CO2 respecto a los Centros de Datos tradicionales.<\/p>\n

Ferrovial cuenta con una amplia experiencia en la construcci\u00f3n de este tipo de instalaciones, habiendo llevado a cabo proyectos de estas caracter\u00edsticas<\/strong> para compa\u00f1\u00edas como Telef\u00f3nica, as\u00ed como diversas compa\u00f1\u00edas financieras l\u00edderes, entre otras.<\/p>\n
