El tr\u00e1fico en el Aeropuerto de Heathrow<\/a>\u00a0roz\u00f3 los siete millones en agosto de 2013, lo que supone un crecimiento interanual del 7,7%.<\/p>\n

Al igual que ocurri\u00f3 en el mes de julio, el aumento de tr\u00e1fico vivido durante agosto se explica en gran medida por el efecto de los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos. Ajustando los datos para considerar esta variable, la subida ser\u00eda del 1%.<\/p>\n

Los factores de carga siguieron siendo elevados, mientras que el tama\u00f1o medio de las aeronaves mantuvo su tendencia alcista. El n\u00famero medio de pasajeros por avi\u00f3n subi\u00f3 un 3,4% hasta 204,2. El n\u00famero de pasajeros por vuelo aument\u00f3 un 6,9% hasta alcanzar los 168,9. Esto result\u00f3 en un factor de carga medio del 82,7%, lo que se traduce en un aumento interanual del 2,6%.<\/p>\n

En l\u00ednea con la evoluci\u00f3n reciente, el tr\u00e1fico con Medio Oriente y Asia Central creci\u00f3 un 13,4%. Para el Sur y el Este de Asia, las subidas fueron del 18,3% y del 21,3%, respectivamente (alzas del 28,3% y del 18,7% para China e India). El tr\u00e1fico europeo tambi\u00e9n se mantuvo fuerte, con un crecimiento del 8,6% y n\u00fameros rese\u00f1ables para Alemania, Francia e Italia.<\/p>\n
