(Responsables.biz) Como resultado del compromiso de Sony con la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica, la compa\u00f1\u00eda redujo su consumo energ\u00e9tico un 90 por ciento en sus categor\u00edas de producto durante el a\u00f1o financiero 2006. Gracias a la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica \u00abcomo uno de sus principales pilares para la creaci\u00f3n de una sociedad sostenible\u00bb, Sony \u00abpretende conseguir de forma continuada productos que necesiten menos energ\u00eda, tanto para el hogar como para la oficina\u00bb, seg\u00fan recuerda la compa\u00f1\u00eda en su nuevo Informe de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC), publicado el pasado 30 de julio.<\/p>\n

Algunos ejemplos de estos productos eficientes son sus televisiones ‘Bravia’. Los vendidos en Europa consiguieron un consumo energ\u00e9tico en posici\u00f3n de ‘standby’ por debajo de un vatio, mientras que la mayor parte de los modelos se mantienen por debajo de los 0,3 vatios. Asimismo, a los port\u00e1tiles ‘Vaio’ de Sony se les ha incluido su propia funci\u00f3n ‘Advanced VAIO Power Management’, que permite a los usuarios apagar los ordenadores de forma temporal para conseguir mayor ahorro energ\u00e9tico. Adem\u00e1s, se ha introducido una nueva luz ambiente ‘White LED’ en algunas de sus monitores, reduciendo de forma considerable el consumo energ\u00e9tico.<\/p>\n

La \u00faltima novedad de la gama de productos de Home Audio tiene un consumo energ\u00e9tico en posici\u00f3n ‘standby’ de s\u00f3lo 0,3 vatios, consiguiendo m\u00e1s de un 85 por ciento de eficiencia energ\u00e9tica en el amplificador.<\/p>\n

Todos estos esfuerzos, se\u00f1ala Sony en su Memoria, \u00abno se han quedado sin recompensa\u00bb, ya que el pasado mes de febrero la compa\u00f1\u00eda se convirti\u00f3 en la primera empresa de electr\u00f3nica de consumo y entretenimiento en conseguir el galard\u00f3n ‘Sustainable Energy Europe Award’ de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea, que reconoce a las compa\u00f1\u00edas por su compromiso y esfuerzos voluntarios para la mejora de la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica de sus productos.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
