Eso es lo que ha conseguido un equipo de investigadores de la Universidad de Harvard, seg\u00fan informa Technology Review, una publicaci\u00f3n del Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Massachusetts.<\/p>\n<p>Estas c\u00e9lulas solares, que incluyen un cable de tan s\u00f3lo 300 nan\u00f3metros de di\u00e1metro, pueden ser \u00fatiles para el suministro de energ\u00eda en peque\u00f1os robots con aplicaciones militares o de vigilancia medioambiental.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan los creadores de estos nanopaneles, el sencillo dise\u00f1o de sus c\u00e9lulas solares puede ser muy \u00fatil en la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda a gran escala, y podr\u00eda representar una disminuci\u00f3n del coste de la generaci\u00f3n de electricidad a partir del sol.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Captura de electrones<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>Cada c\u00e9lula est\u00e1 compuesta por un n\u00facleo de silicio cristalino y varias capas conc\u00e9ntricas de silicio con diferentes propiedades electr\u00f3nicas. Estas capas cumplen las mismas funciones que los materiales semiconductores en las c\u00e9lulas solares convencionales: absorben la luz y capturan electrones para producir electricidad.<\/p>\n<p>Para Zhong Lin Wang, profesor de ciencia de los materiales del Instituto Georgia Tech, la creaci\u00f3n de nanoc\u00e9lulas solares es un \u00abgran avance en el campo de la nanotecnolog\u00eda\u00bb.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
