Es el \u00fanico negocio del <a title=\"sector de servicios aeroportuarios y de transporte que se sit\u00faa en los 10 primeros (ventana nueva)\" href=\"http:\/\/mediacentre.heathrowairport.com\/Press-releases\/Heathrow-in-top-10-alongside-the-best-in-the-corporate-world-for-responsible-business-88e.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">sector de servicios aeroportuarios y de transporte que se sit\u00faa entre los 10 primeros<\/a>, con cuatro estrellas de cinco.<\/p>\n<p>El \u201c<a title=\"Corporate Responsability Index (ventana nueva)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bitc.org.uk\/our-services\/benchmarking\/cr-index\" target=\"_blank\">Corporate Responsability Index<\/a>\u201d ofrece informaci\u00f3n a las empresas acerca del grado de responsabilidad corporativa de las mismas as\u00ed como sus pr\u00e1cticas, contribuyendo a garantizar un futuro sostenible. Los resultados del \u201cCR Index\u201d de 2014, anunciados en la \u201c<a title=\"Responsible Business Week (ventana nueva)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bitc.org.uk\/programmes\/responsible-business-week\" target=\"_blank\">Responsible Business Week<\/a>\u201d, se basaron en el cuestionario m\u00e1s exigente desde su lanzamiento en 2002. Las conclusiones constatan avances palpables por parte del Aeropuerto de Heathrow en la integraci\u00f3n de un comportamiento responsable dentro de su actividad.<\/p>\n<p>Heathrow ha sido galardonado con cuatro estrellas gracias a su gesti\u00f3n as\u00ed como por aspectos clave de responsabilidad corporativa, desarrollando objetivos espec\u00edficos y medibles, y garantizando su cumplimiento. Esto incluye un <strong>programa de compromiso con la salud y la prevenci\u00f3n<\/strong> que ha permitido reducir las lesiones de pasajeros y personal en el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o, as\u00ed como el <strong>impulso laboral en las comunidades locales a trav\u00e9s de \u201cHeathrow Academy\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El hub londinense ha demostrado tambi\u00e9n, durante tres a\u00f1os, importantes avances en las \u00e1reas de impacto ambiental y social; reduciendo el impacto de residuos, agua y emisiones de carbono. As\u00ed mismo, ha contribuido a mejorar y proteger el h\u00e1bitat, as\u00ed como diversas instalaciones en la comunidad. Heathrow recibi\u00f3 el a\u00f1o pasado el \u00abPlatinum Big Tick\u00bb de Business in the Community.<\/p>\n<p>Matt Gorman, Director de Sostenibilidad de Heathrow, ha explicado: \u00abEstamos encantados de recibir este reconocimiento por nuestro compromiso de operar de una manera responsable desde un punto de vista medioambiental y social.
