Con el objetivo de ser m\u00e1s sostenible e incrementar el n\u00famero de coches el\u00e9ctricos, el aeropuerto de Heathrow<\/a>, ha anunciado que instalar\u00e1 m\u00e1s de 135 nuevos puntos de recarga que dar\u00e1n servicio al menos a 260 veh\u00edculos adicionales. <\/p>\n

Heathrow pretende convertirse en el aeropuerto m\u00e1s sostenible del mundo<\/h2>\n

Esta es solo una de las muchas iniciativas del ambicioso plan que Heathrow ha puesto en marcha para reducir sus emisiones, el ruido de los aviones y el tr\u00e1fico de veh\u00edculos, con el objetivo de convertirse en el aeropuerto m\u00e1s ecol\u00f3gico del mundo. Actualmente ya se ha implantado el 70% de las medidas recogidas en el plan y se est\u00e1 trabajando en el 30% restante<\/p>\n

Reducci\u00f3n del ruido<\/h3>\n

Heathrow va camino de convertirse en el primero de los grandes aeropuertos europeos que carezca de aeronaves clasificadas \u201ccap\u00edtulo 3\u201d, consideradas las m\u00e1s antiguas y ruidosas del mundo. Adem\u00e1s, en los pr\u00f3ximos 18 meses, las compa\u00f1\u00edas a\u00e9reas introducir\u00e1n tecnolog\u00edas de bajo ruido para reducir considerablemente su contaminaci\u00f3n ac\u00fastica. En cuanto a los horarios de vuelo, este a\u00f1o Heathrow trabajar\u00e1 con NATS<\/a> para reducir el tr\u00e1fico nocturno y as\u00ed ofrecer mayor descanso a los vecinos de Heathrow. <\/p>\n

Reducci\u00f3n de emisiones<\/h3>\n

En 2015 se invirtieron 250.000 libras en la instalaci\u00f3n de 21 nuevos puntos de recarga de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos gratuitos para los pasajeros que utilizasen los aparcamientos de corta estancia. Adem\u00e1s, a partir de enero de 2017 se duplicar\u00e1n las tarifas de aterrizaje verde para las aerol\u00edneas con el objetivo de fomentar el uso de aviones m\u00e1s limpios. Otra medida interesante que tendr\u00e1 lugar este a\u00f1o, ser\u00e1n los 16,2 millones de libras que Heathrow invertir\u00e1 en la mejora de la cobertura de las unidades de aire preacondicionado y el suministro de electricidad en las puertas de embarque, lo cual reducir\u00e1 dr\u00e1sticamente las emisiones de los aviones durante su estancia en los puntos de estacionamiento.<\/p>\n

Reducci\u00f3n del tr\u00e1fico<\/h3>\n

A pesar del aumento en el n\u00famero de pasajeros, el tr\u00e1fico por carretera hacia Heathrow se ha mantenido gracias a las diversas acciones medioambientales emprendidas por el aeropuerto. Entre otras citar la puesta en servicio de un nuevo autob\u00fas 24 horas, la creaci\u00f3n del mayor programa europeo de coche compartido para empleados de una aeropuerto, la apertura de un centro de bicicletas y el lanzamiento de un nuevo plan en colaboraci\u00f3n con Sustrans<\/a> que transformar\u00e1 la experiencia de los ciclistas en Heathrow.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
