Tambi\u00e9n aument\u00f3 el n\u00famero de pasajeros que transitaron por Heathrow, alcanzando la cifra de 75 millones, lo que representa un incremento del 2,2% con respecto al a\u00f1o anterior. En cuanto a los datos econ\u00f3micos de Heathrow para el ejercicio 2015, los ingresos totales sumaron 2.765 millones de libras \u2013un incremento del 2,7% con respecto a 2014\u2013 y el EBITDA alcanz\u00f3 los 1.605 millones de libras, un 3% m\u00e1s que el a\u00f1o anterior. En la segunda mitad de 2015 hubo una tendencia a la baja en los costes operativos.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a otros acontecimientos de importancia en 2015, Heathrow fue el \u00fanico aeropuerto del mundo en firmar el Compromiso de Acci\u00f3n de Par\u00eds sobre cambio clim\u00e1tico, muestra inequ\u00edvoca de su firme compromiso con la sostenibilidad y la adopci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas \u2018verdes\u2019. Adem\u00e1s, la aerol\u00ednea nacional indonesia, <a title=\"p\u00e1gina web de Garuda Indoneisa\" href=\"https:\/\/www.garuda-indonesia.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\">Garuda Airlines<\/a>, traslad\u00f3 sus operaciones londinenses del aeropuerto de Gatwick a Heathrow, al igual que hicieran <a title=\"p\u00e1gina web de Vietnam Airlines\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vietnamairlines.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\">Vietnam Airlines<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airchina.es\"title=\"p\u00e1gina web de Air China\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\">Air China<\/a>. De momento, la demanda de vuelos desde Heathrow sigue superando la disponibilidad de slots.<\/p>\n<p>La ampliaci\u00f3n del aeropuerto de Heathrow \u2018supondr\u00eda una inyecci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de 211.000 millones de libras y har\u00eda de Heathrow el hub m\u00e1s sostenible del mundo, y del Reino Unido el pa\u00eds mejor conectado.\u2019<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n
