Estos premios reconocen aquellas iniciativas, personas y organizaciones que m\u00e1s han destacado a lo largo del a\u00f1o anterior por su implementaci\u00f3n, promoci\u00f3n o facilitaci\u00f3n de usos innovadores de Internet y las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas en sus respectivas categor\u00edas. Mediante votos de usuarios an\u00f3nimos a trav\u00e9s de la p\u00e1gina web <a title=\"D\u00eda de Internet 2016\" href=\"http:\/\/www.diadeinternet.org\/2016\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">www.diadeinternet.org\/2016<\/a> se determinan los finalistas, y los ganadores son seleccionados posteriormente por un jurado de expertos en lo digital. Este premio supone el colof\u00f3n a la excelente campa\u00f1a <em>Urban Peek<\/em> desarrollada por Ferrovial, que recibi\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 3.500 fotos en dos semanas. A d\u00eda de hoy, se han compartido 4.775 im\u00e1genes con este hashtag \u00fanico.<\/p>\n<p>La Gala de entrega de los premios del D\u00eda de Internet 2016 tuvo lugar en la Fundaci\u00f3n Telef\u00f3nica (<a title=\"p\u00e1gina web de Easpacio Telef\u00f3nica\" href=\"https:\/\/espacio.fundaciontelefonica.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Espacio Telef\u00f3nica<\/a>) \u00a0en el centro de Madrid. Ah\u00ed estuvieron Francisco Polo, Director de Comunicaci\u00f3n de Ferrovial, y Astrit Fern\u00e1ndez, Gerente de Comunicaci\u00f3n Digital, quien recogi\u00f3 el galard\u00f3n acompa\u00f1ada de su equipo formado por Jos\u00e9 Luis Garc\u00eda Guaita, Arantxa Gulias Valverde y Bethany Ashcroft.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de Ferrovial, otros galardonados en el D\u00eda de Internet 2016 fueron <a title=\"@mhemeroteca Twitter\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mhemeroteca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">@mhemeroteca<\/a> como mejor perfil en Twitter, <a title=\"p\u00e1gina web de Wallapop\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wallapop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Wallapop<\/a>, como mejor aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil, y <a title=\"p\u00e1gina web de Unicef\" href=\"http:\/\/www.unicef.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow noopener\">Unicef<\/a>, mejor portal de acci\u00f3n social.
