El pasado viernes tuvo lugar la inauguraci\u00f3n oficial por parte del ministro de Transportes de Ontario, Steven Del Duca, y Jose Angel Tamariz,\u00a0Director Consejero y Presidente del Consejo de 407 East Development Group, consorcio formado por <a title=\"Ferrovial Autopistas Cintra\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferrovial.com\/es\/lineas-de-negocio\/autopistas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"> Cintra <\/a>y <a title=\"SNC Lavalin\" href=\"http:\/\/www.snclavalin.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"> SNC Lavalin<\/a> y Alejandro de la Joya, Consejero Delegado de Ferrovial Agroman.<\/p>\n<p>La inauguraci\u00f3n se produce tras tres a\u00f1os de trabajos de construcci\u00f3n que dieron comienzo en primavera de 2013. El consorcio liderado por Cintra fue seleccionado en 2012 para el dise\u00f1o, construcci\u00f3n, financiaci\u00f3n y mantenimiento. El proyecto tiene un valor de <strong>1.000 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong> <strong>canadienses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La Fase 1 comprende un tramo de <strong>20 kms<\/strong> de prolongaci\u00f3n hacia el este de la autopista 407 ETR hasta Harmony Road en Whitby \/ Oshawa. Adem\u00e1s, incluye la conexi\u00f3n con la autopista 401, a trav\u00e9s de un nuevo enlace de 10 kil\u00f3metros, y 5 kil\u00f3metros de realineaci\u00f3n de la autopista 401. Se han construido <strong>70 estructuras<\/strong> y <strong>148 kms de nuevos carriles<\/strong>, entre las que destacan 10 nuevos intercambiadores. El per\u00edodo de concesi\u00f3n de la nueva infraestructura es de 30 a\u00f1os desde el inicio de la operaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto ha requerido m\u00e1s de 3,2 millones de horas\/hombre, siendo la formaci\u00f3n en Seguridad y Medioambiente una prioridad para el consorcio constructor formado por Ferrovial Agroman y SNC Lavalin. Los trabajos tambi\u00e9n debieron ser cuidadosamente planificados para no interferir en las migraciones de aves durante la \u00e9poca de nidificaci\u00f3n en los meses de mayo y junio y otras restricciones medioambientales.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-161508 size-wysiwyg-xlarge\"
