El tr\u00e1fico a M\u00e9xico aument\u00f3 en un 29,5%, a Oriente Medio en un 13,3% y a China en un 13,7%.<\/p>\n<p>Heathrow tambi\u00e9n atribuye el aumento del volumen de pasajeros a las \u00abaeronaves mayores y m\u00e1s silenciosas\u00bb que se est\u00e1n usando. Los asientos por aeronave aumentaron en un 2,3%, hasta los 209,6, mientras que los pasajeros por aeronave aumentaron en un 4,1%, hasta los 175,6. A causa del aumento de la demanda de pasajeros hacia y desde el aeropuerto, Heathrow ha introducido una serie de nuevas aeronaves; de hecho, el aeropuerto se ha convertido en uno de los m\u00e1s populares para las l\u00edneas a\u00e9reas que emplean A380. Heathrow tambi\u00e9n tiene un n\u00famero r\u00e9cord de Dreamliners, la aeronave l\u00edder del sector con hasta un 20% m\u00e1s de eficiencia de combustible y un 20-25% m\u00e1s silenciosa.<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, el volumen de mercanc\u00edas en Heathrow, el mayor puerto del Reino Unido en valor, alcanz\u00f3 un crecimiento del 3,2% en los 12 \u00faltimos meses, con
