Durante ese mes, el aeropuerto alcanz\u00f3 la impresionante cifra de<strong> 5,72 millones de pasajeros,<\/strong> lo que supone <strong>un incremento del 2,5%<\/strong> respecto de la cifra del a\u00f1o pasado. Tambi\u00e9n se ha conseguido un incremento del <strong>4,4% en el volumen de carga,<\/strong> que ha alcanzado las 138.050 toneladas. Este resultado positivo demuestra que las oportunidades comerciales de los exportadores brit\u00e1nicos no dejan de crecer, puesto que la mayor\u00eda de esta carga iba dirigida a mercados en r\u00e1pido crecimiento, como por ejemplo (China, con un aumento del 10%, Turqu\u00eda con un aumento del 10.4%, Brasil con un aumento del 5,66% y M\u00e9xico, que ha aumentado el 7,3%). Adem\u00e1s, el tr\u00e1fico desde esos mercados emergentes tambi\u00e9n ha aumentado el 8%, lo que demuestra que la demanda de vuelos desde el Reino Unido sigue siendo elevada.<\/p>\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos de aeronaves, la introducci\u00f3n de aviones de mayor tama\u00f1o que son m\u00e1s eficientes (<a title=\"Airbus A380\" href=\"http:\/\/www.airbus.com\/aircraftfamilies\/passengeraircraft\/a380family\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\">como el Airbus A380, <\/a><a title=\"Airbus A350\" href=\"http:\/\/your.heathrow.com\/qatar-launches-first-daily-airbus-a350-service-london-heathrow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\">el Airbus A350 <\/a>y el<a title=\"Boeing 787\" href=\"http:\/\/Boeing 787s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"dofollow\"> Boeing 787<\/a>) tambi\u00e9n ha influido en los resultados, puesto que se ha producido un aumento del 0,7% del volumen de pasajeros en comparaci\u00f3n con la cifra del a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n<p>Planificando para el a\u00f1o que viene, <a title=\"Heathrow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.heathrow.com\/target=\" rel=\"dofollow\">Heathrow<\/a> <strong>ha nombrado contactos de dise\u00f1o con siete empresas\u00a0<\/strong> que facilitar\u00e1n planes para la pr\u00f3xima ampliaci\u00f3n del aeropuerto, a fin de asegurar un resultado moderno,
